Replacing catback with aftermarket...can I use jackstands?
I want to put in my greddy catback myself, any chance I can use jackstands? What problems will I have removing and installing the new one?
I would like to know too. I'm doing it on my teg soon.
I did a search an all I gathered was, soak all the bolts for
a long time, take the axleback section off first, then unbolt
at the cat (bolts sometimes frozen).

You can do it with jackstands. I just unbolted my cat, and it took a lot of penetrating oil, a big extension, and a lot of pushing. Can be done though. (hope you're not claustrophobic).
The cat bolts suck, I wasn't able to get them off with my four foot breaker bar because everything flexs with the hanging supports. If you have an air gun and a long extension you can hit all three bolts, including the top. The air gun took mine off instantly.
Yes, you can do it with Jackstands. It's very easy to do this. The only problem will be removing the nuts from the catalytic converter, but with some patience it comes out fine. I just used a simple ratchet with an extension and good old muscle.
