Default Sad news about our crx....

my girl woke up in a hury this morning and she took the crx I took the hatch. She was backing up and did not relize a truck across the lot had its bed door down and she drove it right throught the hatch I had allready taken off not knowing about it. she wanted me to call and see how much it would cost to replace the broken piece which was just the little back window, the big one was still in tact.
Well when I had finally seen the car I was sad, the whole hatch is going to have to be replaced because the bed door smashed alot of it inwards. it has to be pulled to open and pushed real hard to close and it just looks like plain crap.

I told here little things like this happen, it is no big deal. I will fix it. anyone have a hatch they want to give me just joking.

are there any fiberglass or carbonfiber ones that look nice with the lexan allready installed. besides Lnatural MMRUSA.com and others mentioned in the search criteria.

thanks all
Justin

Sorry to hear about your CRX. I am in the process of restoring mine (Body and Engine) into a semi street legal car that I will only take out maybe twice a month. But I have been looking to make my own Lexan windows. Here are some of the good topics I read on this site, if you are interested in making your own.

There are more on this board, but these are some of the better ones that involve making homemade units. I know you didnt really ask about homemade units, but just in case you are interested, they seem fairly easy, just very tediuos to make. Good luck!
