Default Performance Friction pads

Every race shop I go to around here carries these pads. (granted they are nascar type race shops) I would expect they must be pretty good from what I've read. After searching I found a thread that said they are like the Panther XP's, but the XP's aren't as hard on the rotors. Is this true?? How come I never read about any of you guys using these pads?

PFCs are what I use on my car all the time. I have not tried anything else on my car, but I think they are pretty good, and you can get them at AutoZone with a life time warranty. If I change to something else/can afford better it will be BrakeMan #3's.

They honestly haven't been to bad for me either. Though to get to a solid bite out of them it took me a couple good solid applying of the brakes to get them up to heat to really bite, but besides that never let me down in city driving and really helped in longer auto X courses I did. Never got to the track last year to see how they help up in lapping days though. For the price I think a set at the track everyweekend wouldn't be bad, espically when you compare prices with hawk pads.
