can't really give you an exact number, prolly about 10 hp / 10 tq - maybe more ... cuz people say their DX can outrun their Si when they do the conversion (which the weight also comes in play)

It should be 1 or 2 hp behind an Si, and the DX's are lighter,so there ya go.

i don't know about 1-2 hp, Si has the bigger displacement and the more aggressive cam gear... which would give it about 6-10 hp

Only reason i asked was I have an Hf and my cousin has a spare dx engine. You do the math. From and old Hf engine to a MPFI DX is a huge gain in Hp.

yeah but the dx engine has the higher compression
add mpfi to that and you have an equal or better engine that the si

One of my friend video taped this guy with a 89 Civic HF Hatchback...with the stock 1.5 but with the SI Complete head with a short ram and SI tranny...and was he quick!!..he beat an LS with i/h/e and he could keep up with some GSRs...i know it also depends on the driver but that lil 1.5 was cool...also he had that MSD 2-Step and when he was getting ready to launch all you see is fire ***** coming out of the exhaust which sounded like gun shots
