Default VAFC code 22 questions??

I have a JDM h22 in my 95 accord and just recently installed the apexi vafc. All of the connections look good and the ecu did not throw any codes prior to installing the vafc. After I installed it the ecu give a code 22 from startup. I was just wondering how in the world to fix this problem and what could possibly be wrong. I could go buy a new VTEC pressure switch, but I do not think that is the problem considering the ecu did throw any codes before I installed it. Any suggestions on fixing this would be helpful. Thanks!!

Sounds like the VTP output on the V-AFC is hosed almost doesnt it?!

see if a friend will let you hook up the VAFC on their car, and see if it does the same thing, maybe? that would be a good way to see if it's a problem with the VAFC.

My guess is the wiring diagram is wrong like it was for the 4 cyl Accord installation.

Did you follow their instructions or were you using a service manual?

I went online and downloaded the latest instructions that they had. Also, what could have killed my VAFC? I hooked everything up the way they told me to and it still messed up. Made sure not to short anything at all. Could it just have been a defaulty unit, and if so would APEXi replace it for me. Thanks!

Are you using a F22 ECU? I know for a fact their diagram is wrong for the F22. May be wrong for others as well.

I'd put money on the wiring being wrong.
