Is it possible to interchange gears, synchros, bearings, etc from a cable tranny to a hydro?

What specific transmissions are you talking about? Its not about whether the clutch is cable vs. hydraulic; its about the gears themselves. Bearing sizes, shaft spacing, etc...

 

Gears from like a cable GSR or B16A to a GSR hydro. For instance, I know someone with a extra cable tranny and I was wondering if I could stick his good 3-4 gearset into my tranny since the synchros in mine are gettin shot.

the 92+ parts should be interchangible. 89-91 and 92+ parts will NOT interchange.

I know that a lot of the 92+ parts are interchangable, but I don't know about all of them. Stuff I do know you can do:
-put hydro tranny guts into a 92-93 cable case (some mods needed)
-put an itr lsd into 92-93 cable (some mods needed)
-put a hydro 5th gear into a 92-93 cable
