I bought the car and w/ it came alot of good stuff. I asked him what ECU was in there and he said a stock CRX si ECU. Now is it possible to run a B16a w/ that ecu? He said that the VTEC does not work so i bought a controller.

I bougt a Spoon vtec controller off of ebay and i wanted to know if it would be able to plugg in and are these any good?

you need to get a pwo or a pr3 quick!

 

Using a VTEC controller with a stock SI ECU on a B16A definitely falls under the category of 'halfassing it'. Like the other guy said, get a PR3 or PW0.

 

maybe you got raped on that "spoon" vtec controller.
you paid extra $ for their name
and you have to get pr3 or pw0 in order for vtec to work.

 

$75 is too much??? I dont know much these really go for but i bough it non-the-less.

 

if you got a real spoon vtec controller for $75 that's really not too bad imo

 

Damn, very bad set up I would get the pr3 or pw0 as quickly as possible to make everthing run smooth.
