Default taillghts

i know this is a more apperance question, but i think i would get a better answer here then in the apperance forum. sorry mods, if you want to lock or move, i'll understand. i was thinking about baking my taillights to get rid of the orange film, and it came across my mind....can you take the red film off of the taillights as well? not the bottom red, but the top part of the headlight. this is in a 94 (5th gen)
thanks

well look at your lens carefully..
the orange stripe should be under the outer cover.

dude that is not a film in your taillights. It is the actual plastic. Look carefully. Baking you taillights won't do anything for you unless you have a clear plastic piece to replace it with. You can order a pair of all clear tails and bake and pant those. This will give you the M3 look that you are going for. Good Luck!
