Im new, i need some help
Hey all, i need help with my brand new (to me) prelude 92 si. My h23 has 132k miles on it, and is an automatic (couldnt find a 5 speed closer than 200 mi). Other than that great condition, everything is stock, and is an awesome car.
Im looking forward to do some mods, however, and i need suggestions. What would you suggest i get for 600$, thats all i have right now, and thats what im starting at. Thanks.

make sure you get all preventative maintenence out of the way (ie. belts, fluids flushed/replaced, etc) and after that i would say K&N drop in filter. and maybe some springs w/ a camber kit. Being it an a/t, i'd say there isnt too much to gain in terms of power, but handling is key as well, so a nice suspension setup would be an important step.
i'm the proud owner of a 92 si myself.

this is what i was going to do, i have a friend at ractive, and i can get stuff at dealer cost.
For 600, i can get:
Coil overs
Intake (ram)
Header
Muffler (HKS style)
Mid section
i was planning on replacing tranny in about 3 months

i would get some springs, shocks, drop in filter, and wheels.then header and exhaust if you want. dont get those coilovers, they are most likely not true coilovers. those are the kinds that have a bad ride but an adjustable ride height.
