New Type R syggestions
i just bought a 1998 Type R with JDM front end and the JDM b18C motor... i wanna hear some of ur suggestions on what to do to it. THAT DOESNT INCLUDE BODY KITS!!!
i just purchased an 01 type r and the first thing i did was changed the suspension cause the one that was on it wasn't the stock type r suspension. i noticed it at the dealership that i purchased it at but i knew i could just change the suspension. i also put a comptech ice box on my car too. i've had my car for about 2 months and those are my mods so far. i guess it depends on what route your gonna go too to determine where your going to start. but if you have the stock suspension drive it for a while to see if you like the set up...you might like it just fine and want to keep everything stock..haha..good luck

Some first simple mods that will give you some hp are things like intake, and a 2.5" header and cat. Since your name is "still_learning" heh, you should do just that and learn to enjoy the car stock, then later add some mods if you feel neccesary.

One of the first this you should do is Get a garage and a good alarm system.
Oh then have fun and drive the car, no need to upgrade right off the bat.

What's wrong with stock suspension? ITR stock suspension can still handle better than a lot of cars with aftermarkets.[/QUOTE]
oh yeah i know that the itr stock suspension is great, if the itr i purchased had it i wouldn't have changed it but i guess the previous owner changed out the suspension with different ones cause the springs were black and i was told stock type r springs are red with white stripes or vice versa. the springs that were on there when i first purchased the itr made my itr look like it could go four wheeling..haha
