Default Best oil for a 1st gen b16a

I was at honda today and i saw for various Dohc Vtec vehicles they recomend 5w-30(99si) adn 10w30 (92-93 gsr, Del sol vtec), which one is the best for my 1st gen b16a, and should i go synthetic. And also what brands are the best, i use to run castrol in my d16a6 and its alright.

Let me know your opions

Thanks

No need to switch to synthetic just more exspensive. If your motor has a lot of miles on its probably better to go with 10w-30. Its better to change the oil more often than to use an exspensive motor oil.

hey , I have the same as you, I run Mobil 1 synthetic 15-50 it is thick like a mother ****** so I just let it warm up for long time. I figure I should yous thicker oil cause our engine revs realy high and needs the best protection .
