Problem with KONI's on 90 Accord 4 Door
I installed to Konis in the rear, and they are hitting the cross beams behind the rear folding seat....If you have a 4th gen...you know what beams I am talking about.
What did you guys do?
I can not adjust the shocks with the key supplied by Koni.....
Thanks

Is the adjustment screw hitting the rear cross member?
I have gen6 not a 4, but I don't understand how the shocks are hitting?
If the peak of your adjustment valve is hitting a rear crossmember; how much meat does the cross member have? You could drill a small hole to allow for the shocks valve screw to fit. The bigger you make it, the less meat you will have left. I never found rear adjustments useful on my koni's as they are way to stiff in the rear anyway, at least for street use. I'd like to be of more help.

It is the same on 5th gen accords. You COULD drill a hole and use something other than the Koni supplied **** to adjust them, or you could just take the braces out and replace them with a good solid strut bar. I sure wish Koni had put the **** on the bottom of the shock...
yea, its not really a problem, its how it is on any accord (at least 4th and 5th gen for sure) I just removed the braces.
First drill the hole and remount your shox on full soft. Play with the fronts. If you find this unsatisfactory then try the other solutions.
