Good place to get clutch and flywheel installed in my teg (Philadelphia area)
Can anybody reccommend a place to have this done in the Philly area. Somewhere that is reasonable and good. I have been getting quotes from $434.70 to $585 to install which is ridicolous. Was hoping for $250 number. I wish I could do it myself, but that aint happening. Anyhow Im installing ACT HDSS and Prolite flywheel. I posted in this forum because of the answers I get here are usually pretty helpful. Also, it is for Autox and race related, in a round about way. Thanks in advance for your replies.
My friend got his Toda flywheel,ITR clutch, and ATS final installed at IMPO performance. Parts have been in the car for the better part of a year now. With 3 track events and several autox's on them they seem to be fine.
IMPO performance: 215-942-9886
Unfortunately we don't have a multitude of shops in our area to choose from

I think we already discussed this... I say IMPO... you say you don't like them....
If you feel like the drive you can try Red Shift... but they're pretty far north for you.

I would recommend sticking to any Acura dealer in the area.
Based on experiences of friends there, I would strongly recommend against IMPO. And based on my personal experinces I would also recommend againt A and H Motorsport. A and H is good for parts, but stay away from their service dept...

How did I know I was going to get these replies? Because Impo blows, A + H overcharges it seems. I did not know service there was a little skechy. They put a drivers side front wheel bearing in my car. I am such a retart my car was making all kinds of noice from the front when turning and I thought it was the Azenias wearing out. Meanwhile that wheel bearing was toast on a car with less than 30,000 miles on it. Strange, it works fine and A + H installed. They did probably overcharge me. Honda dealer wanted $500 and change to install tranny. WTF, it only takes a few hours to do in a shop. Anyone what to help me do it who has the knowledge. Many beers and food on me. My luck it would get installed wrong. Sorry for the rant. I'm going to watch the Sixer's and trailblazer's get it on. Anyone else with any suggestions?
