need help with jammed sunroof...
My sunroof started poping a few days ago and now its completly jammed. I hear the motor running so I know its not electical. Has anyone have this happen? Do you think that having a really tight suspension caused the cab to flex enough to cause it?
Thanks
Thanks
is it jammed open or closed? if it is open then u should have a sunroof wrench that can close it. I doubt that ur suspension being tight would have caused the cab to flex enought to to allow that to happen.
Thats the craziest thing I have ever heard... Of course, I guess it is possible, but with a really loose suspension I would say... Tight wont make the car bend that way.. I think u just got it stuck somehow... Try the manual turning it while pushing upward... I assume its closed also...
Sunroof Fix--
Tools needed:
Sawzall and Duct Tape
Step One, cut out sunroof
Step Two Duct Tape Hole Shut
No actually if you can hear the motor running then its probably some kind of gear that makes the sunroof actually move probably stripped or something...
and while were talking about sunroofs does yall's open quite slowly and then fast at the end? mine and my friends lude does it

The roof is closed. The motor it trying to open it, so I assume the gears are fine and the wrench won't help much. I've tried pushing up on it while holding the switch on open, but that suckers stuck! It'll open about 1/2 an inch but no more. Guess I'll be taking out the headliner this weekend along with my mbc and cmc!
