92-95 civic ex CAI in 89 civic

will it fit if i take off the battery? anyone done this before?

I have a 92-95 Aerospeed front mount intake on my 88 hatch and if fit fine with the battery still in place. It looks good cuz the pipe is straight from the TB to the hole and down behind the bumper. I'm not sure if you'll get any gains from using the other one but it may help that the pipe has fewer bends.
