Is a 2" drop on Tokico blues too much? Also, trim bumpstop or not?
Ok. I have a 89 CRX DX lowered (2" in front, 1.8" in rear) with Neuspeed sport springs. The ride is very bouncy, and I've considered purchasing a set of Tokico blues to see if they fix the problem. My question is, will a 2" drop on these shocks blow them out? Obviously, I don't want to spend $300 on them if they only last a week or two.
Also, if it IS okay to use them with a 2" drop, should I cut the bumpstops in half? My Neuspeed spring instructions said not to cut the bumpstops.
Thanks in advance for your help.

i have tokico blues w/ about a 3.5 inch drop. (15" rims w/ full size tires). the ride isnt that bad, but i have really stiff springs, yours may not be as rough. mine is fine for daily driving, so i dont see why your setup wouldnt be
yeah i have blues with about 3.5 drop. works well, but i have REALLY stiff springs so its a little bumpy stiff ride. but for a 2 inch drop i wouls say perfect. no need trim bump stops. but sounds almost like a good idea in my set up
