Default HAMP Oil filters...Large or small?

I have seen both offered by many JDM shops, I have also heard that Spoon uses the HAMP's. Are they any good for Integra R's? Which application should I use, large or small? I read in a previous post that the (American made) Honda filters are crap compared to the JDM ones- No way, Honda of Japan keeping the better **** for themselves, wow they just keep screwing us don't they....

I also heard that your vtec is louder with the hamp? Is that bullshit?

with the hamp, the RSX/01 civic it's supposed to be smoother but i don't think it would be louder.

Go with the rsx/01 civic filters, and Hamp if you can afford the bling. Little less filtering capability in the Hamps.......at least the b-series designed once, had 12% less filtering capability.....
