i'm thinkin of workin on my block and put ITR pistons, rings, rods in the b16 block. I read here on H-t that i can slap on a ITR block wit changing minor things like studs etc. So what i wanna know what are the advatages of both and if i use the itr block will the first generation b16a1 will work wit the block
uhhhhhhhhhh, weird.
if your asking if you can bolt up an itr block and a first gen b16a1 head the answer is yes. but it also seems like your asking if you can put itr rods and pistons in a b16 block, well if thats the case you can't use the rods with a 1.6 crank........ and what about a tranny? lol

From what im getting. B16a head will go just fine onto ITR block. (aka, poor man ITR) and yes B16 trannies will go onto ITR blocks. Pretty much all b-series are interchangable.

yeah sorry bout that. i know what i have to do to get itr stuff into the b16 block. I was more concern wit my tranny fitting the itr block cause it uses 90-93 integra clutch and its cable so i wanted to know if that cause a problem since its 1st gen sir instead of 2nd gen sir tranny.
