wheels were torqued by pep boys. anyway the wheels didn't look warped at all. and the guys at pep boys didn't see anything wrong when they balanced and mounted them =T i took it to a muffler shop today and they suggested maybe some wheel spacers? what should i do?
what should you do? never ever go back to pep boy's. they really have some tools working there.
i'd say recheck the wheels. you are supposed to check to retorque your wheels after a few miles anyhow to ensure proper fitment.

i had to goto pep boys cuz i sold my stock wheels in the afternoon, while my stock wheels were on my car, so the guy went with me to swap the wheels. other places were closed but pep boys was still open till 9. anyway i think the wheels are torqued right. i never been hit in the back of my car before and the noise is definitely coming from the back. im wondering if its my exhaust cuz my exhaust was made for a gsr and cut and welded to fit my type r. didn't have that problem before but now i do. anyway, any more help?

well in that case you should invest in a floor jack and a torque wrench or something... hell I rotated my tires myself in about 20 minutes last Saturday morning, right before I was about to leave for the ATL h-t meet. My car was all loaded up and everything, and I just busted out the POS scissor jack and rotated tires right there in the dorm parking lot (thank goodness for 22mm rear sway bar, lifted up the rear tire BEFORE the front tire came off the ground, when using the front jack point!
).
<--- has not checked his lug nut torque since rotating tires, 800 miles later

u guys think it might be rubbing cuz of my tire size? came with 205/50/16's. i know it comes stock with 215/45/16's but i dunno why mine came with that size. u think that could be the reason for the rub?

ok, problem solved. turns out pep boys people didn't balance the wheel right and put the weights where it was hitting my suspension. took it somewhere else and got it fixed. =T no spacers needed.
