How do these come off?

Default How do these come off?


Mine is cracked and I want to replace But i cant figure out how to take it off and I dont want to break anything else. (btw im talking about the triangular piece)

i think its only held on by glue. at least mine was.

it has push in clips, but they usually break and are held in by glue afterwards

i like the civic front bumper reflecting off of your crx.

btw, i didn't even know that piece was held on by clips. always thought they were glued on.

oh naw its not my crx so I wouldnt dare take credit for it I found it in the appearance forum tonight. we'll i guess im gonna try and pop em off tomorrow and order me a few clips

If you just pry them off you'll have to use glue the put them back on. Or buy two new ones.
They're screwed on from the inside. The threaded part is part of the whole thing.

You have to remove the upper plastic from the interior and you can use a 1/4" rachet. Its really tight but it can be done.

when i had my crx the clips that hold it on are like 15 bucks a piece from the dealer if i remember it right

well after taking them off im pretty darn sure you need to replace the 3 clips on both to take off; those clips that you cant help but break

nope, those clips thread onto the triangle thing. When you pulled them off wasn't there a black threaded part broke off inside the grey clip?

why no get the clips before you bust it off..so you don't have to drive around without that peice..
