Standard HKS Blow Off Flange, Where Can I Get It? Same As Greddy?
it retails at 10 bucks, but i cant find it. I was wondering if the greddy standard blow off uses the same size flange as the standard hks blow off.
the part im trying to find is part #:08108-09159 for the hks
the greddy part i can get is Item#: TP-11900450
anyone know?
thanks.

i actually dont know which valve i have, it says hks on it, and it looks similar to the picture you posted. my brother's friend gave me his valve and bought himself the ssqv, but he tossed the flange thinking he wouldnt need it. the valve i have came off of an FMAX turbo kit.
If this is indeed the same flange, this is pretty good news, because the greddy flange looks like its made better and already has a pipe attaced to the flange not like HKS, where its just a flange and i have to get a pipe welded to it.
thanks for the help

yes, it does use the same flange (i know the fmax kits use a similar bov), but I believe for the first time in history something HK$ is cheaper than GReddy... I could be wrong though....
with a blow off...from gear to gear, will i have instant power now that the compressor should spin freely? or does it still have to spool up from gear to gear?
oh yeah, i know you connect the top port of the bov to the intake manifold...but there is a port in the back of the BOV pointing down, what is this for?

you leave it...it doesn't plug into anything...
Hey, how is that HKS Blow off valve? Not the SS one, but the one that is pictured above? Is it loud? I have that BOV and i'm about to install it in about a month.
Thoughts?

actually, if it is not a super sequential bov, then it DOES use the same flange as the GReddy.
thanks for the help guys..
since were on the topic...this HKS bov's design looks similar to the greddy's...so what is the performance difefence? none probbaly, then why spend so much for greddy?

ok in that picture above why the hell did he have a filter on the outlet of the bov?

The HKS Raccing BOV is pretty expensive (so I'm told...I got in the kit) And yes, its pretty loud under high boost...like air brakes on a truck
i think there is the filter there to keep out dirt if air happens to go through there by anychance...i think when the car idles
Anyone know who has a flange to weld onto IC piping and has it in stock right now?
This is for the HKS racing Bypass valve.

specifically this BOV

i asked a friend about the two different companies, regarding the flanges...and he said that the HKS uses a bigger flange, and the greddy flange is smaller so it will not fit. Does anyone know from experience what will come of this? Those of you that say it fits, how do you know? When i mean fit, i mean fit correctly...
thanks
thanks
I had the BOV pictured above from my fmax kit, and I now have a greddy type s. So I can tell you the flange is the same

they look the same, but are their mesasurements the same? have you tried putting the HKS blow off on the greddy flange and lined up the holes, and had no leaks? I just want to be sure since these kinda things are typically non-refundable
Thanks for the reply
Thanks for the reply
cool...so the hks bov mounts up to the type-s wth the screw holes all correct and no leakage under boost...correct me if im wrong but thats what it seems like everyone is telling me.
How much will it cost to get a machine shop to make me a flange?

hey,
sorry I forgot about this thread. My piping came with the flange for the HKS BOV above, and the diaphram inside ripped, so I ordered the greddy type s. It bolted right onto the same falnge with no leaks, and lined up perfect
