re-sizing images?

re-sizing images?
All my images are huge. I bought a digital camera today and my pics come out big. Which I expected, but how do I resize them? I have an HP, fairly cheap digital camera. I think it says 120 series. But anyhow... maybe on photoshop?

on photoshop at the top.. click Image, Image Size, then in the box that says (im guessing) 1600, try making it 800, the other box should automatically go from (im guessing) 1200 to 600 on its own.. 800x600 is a great size..
