Our test and tune you just run lap after lap trying to figure out what changes make you go faster. I'm pretty sure they are timed (or else how would you know if the change was good or bad).

Helps to have someone else there with you to record what you changed on the car and what the time was.

I know our test and tune I ran about 20 times before I had to get gas

Of course. But you might want to check to make sure it's open to everyone. Sometimes the T&T are limited to a certain amount of people.

 

YES! some require preregistration but most are open to everyone... Just tell them you're testing and tuning the driver!!!

Where is this being held? My spring break starts that weekend, so if I come home Friday I might be able to make it! I'm not on my Azenis now, but it'll still be fun with Kumho 712s up front and Goodyear all-seasons out back

I have only 5 events, but I know what I'm doing, know whats going on. And I don't drive like an @ss

 

Added... I guess that means I can't go?

I need to find a test & tune in mid april to dial the car in for petersburg... Getting the car ready for that event is gonna be tight. New suspension is STILL sitting on my desk here at work. I'm still too injured to do that install... The car is going away in the next week or so for some surprises! It'll be gone till the end of march. Get it back... Hopefully install the suspension without breaking something (I've only managed this once!!!). Then I have about a month to tune the car before the pro... its gonna be close!!!!

 

nah a novice is just first or second time out. by 4th and 5th autoxes, you know whats up

hahaha I got kicked out of novice after my 3rd event....they were complaining after my second event already... too bad there's so much crap u gotta deal with, by mailing reg form to perry... ugh... so annoying!!!!

Yeah... I want my driving to be the only excuse this year. I think Chris and I will be posting a lot of info about the project. And I'll probably put some stuff up here for my fellow DSPers... I hope between the revamped suspension and the new power Ishould be able to put in a good showing...maybe!
I don't know if that'll happen but I'll definitly feel better with some extra juice!!! I just gotta learn how to drive now!
