Lowered My Teg, ABS light now on. Ideas?
Ok i lowered my integra on RSR race springs, and I also have 17 inch Kosei K1s. i reset the ECU but the abs stays on, it doesnt come on when i crank the car, only when i start to move it. this happen to anyone else, whats your ideas on the fix?
Check your sensors. Make sure they're not dirty and/or physically damaged. Also, are you wheels/tires the same size? If they're not ABS will pitch a fit.
Check the abs sensors in your brakes, they are pretty small and might have become dislodged while you were doing your suspension. also, it wouldn't hurt to chech the fluid level.

I'm betting it's your brake sensors. This problem seems typical when lowering. You probably accidently dislodged them, it happens all the time.
Scan the ABS computer for codes and it'll help narrow down which sensor is causing the problem. Check it the same way you check the ECU except the ABS light will flash rather then the engine light.
if your tires and rims are different it might mess up with the anti-lock braking system
lowering messes up with the electronic control module, because the computer depends on certain specifications in order to provide proper timing and fuel economy
so basically what i am saying is becareful when modifying your vehicle

i have NEVER heard of anything like that before. bigger wheels may decrease your fuel economy, but it doesnt throw any warning lights off. and that has nothing to do with your ABS system.
the guy probably dislodged a sensor or messed with a line by accident.
