I made the following changes on my 1998 ITR:
-Mugen cylider hi compression head gasket
-Skunk2 stage II cams
-Skunk2 valve train+ti retainers
-STR 70 mm Throttle body
-JG Edlebrock intake manifold
-spoon header & exhaust
-Mugen ECU

The car doesn't idel ver well , cold its OK but when the engine is warm , it idels at 2500rpm or it doen't idel at all. Car goes very well , only a small hesitation arround 4800 rpm (too low vtec point)

Now I just tried mu std ECU and the ideling is PERFECT , only the overall performance of the car is not so good any more.

Any one can help on this one ?

What should be the ignition timing to get the best results ?

Maybe you will have better results in the ITR forum.

 

i have heard a lot of people have problems with those Mugen ECUs...other than that, i don't know much abotu your problem.
