as the title says, my integra's getting barely 90 miles on half a tank... with gas prices crushing me... this is really killing me

invtec helped me change my oil... and spark plugs... i check my tire pressure all the time....

any other ideas on what it might be?

Milege all depends on mods and driving style.

With my mods and tranny work, I now get anywhere from 250 miles per tankful (normal gradma style driving) to 200 miles per tankful aggressive driving

I average about 210-220 if I do lotsa highway driving and don't go into vtec too much. If I drive aggressively I get about 170-190 to the tank

 

Do you weigh more than 300 lbs?

 

Maybe your air filter is dirty

 

I get 150-180 in the city and no more than 250 on the highway....but I love it, and don't really care about the money.

Try doing a tune up and that usually helps increase MPG.

My milege got worse ever since I rebuilt my tranny to ITR specs (ITR 1-5th gears) and added a JDM FD. I figured that I dont mind the tradeoff in fuel economy for a quicker accelerating car.

 

Change you fuel filter also.

 

Your car is pretty damn new.

I just did a calculation I got 334 on a full tank with about 60% freeway. This is on my 94 RS with 108K miles.

cap, rotor, plugs, fuel and air filter.

Otherwise you just drive to hard.

 

Yeah...I get 280-300 miles on my 93 teg with air intake and exhaust. Mostly freeway miles but then again if I drive fast I get about 250 for a tank.

i usually get around 300 in my 96 stock gsr and i am rarely ever on the highway, i usually just shift to 3k though, that might help

Also, can you think of any reason your fuel curve might be way rich? Do you pour out black smoke when you run at WOT? I know I do because of the chipped ECU, but even still I get 300 miles to a tank and I fill up before if not exactly when the light comes on. I generally hit vtec once or twice per tank of gas... getting 11 points on your license will do that to you I guess.

As in "what fuel filter"? Yeah, it is definatley time to change your fuel filter.

 

thats some terrible gas mileage, im at a little above half way point and i'm at 180

 

i've been getting shitty fuel economy lately, and i attribute it directly to the cold weather

 

240 to the tank highway driving
200 city

 

I usually get about 270-290 a tank.
I guess I'm doing pretty good

 

it's right around 190-200 for me on my 97 gsr!!!
