i believe you have to short the two wires on that switch in order for the cruise to function properly.

According to the Hondata manual, you should be able to solder two wires in parellel to the exiting cruise control switch from the blue box. You can also add an on/off switch in serial to one of the wires. The on/off switch is supposed to allow you to use the cruise control switch for launch control (on/off set to ON), or normal cruise control switch function (on/off set to OFF).

What he's saying is you can add a small switch to make the circut "open" all the time (to the Hondata) so you can have the two-stage OFF for "normal" driving. If you connect the two wires at the same points on the clutch switch (where they were taken off from), AND have the switch, you get the cruse fuction as well.

I just installed the clutch switch to the Hondata, added a small switch to turn off the two-stage, and just use the BRAKE when coming off the cruse control...
