Which MC to use?
what up?
Well last week I picked-up a 89 crx si.
two day after I got the car, I got a SIR front end
(from http://www.passwordjdm.com
).....
I have a complete 96 gsr brake system.
I still has the stock engine
,but going to swap with a B18 in the summer.
I would like to use that 96 gsr brake system that I have.
yes I know it's heavier...
but what Master cylinder should I use?
I don't want to bend the brake lines.
thanks

90-91 civic ex master cylinder is 15/16 versus the 7/8 stock crx one.
at least i think those are the numbers...i just put mine on last night but i just sat down so i dont feel like looking right now.
as for the 96 gsr brakes....(if 90+ is all the same)...then you'll need the 90-91 civic ex knuckles too. people have done it with the integra knuckles...(again if 90+ is all the same?)...but the alignment is supposedly off. ive only done the civic ex swap myself.
