Short Shifter that won't hit a thermal 3" on an LS

Hey,
Is anyone running a short shifter in their turbo LS w/ thermal 3" that doesn't sit low enough to hit it? My generic one is rattling like a **** since the 3" went on... The Skunk2 is lookin pretty good, but just wonderin if anyone is using it w/o rattling issues. I heard it doesn't sit very low compared to other SSs on the market. Thanks

My generic one hit as well. I have B&M and it clears perfectly, not to mention shifts are more solid.

my skunk2 was hittig my N1 when i had it..not i replaced it with stock.

I had muffler shop bend my piping slighly there so it wouldn't hit my shifter.

I have a GSR Motor in Civic EX

Does anyone know if the Skunk2 actually sits lower than the B&M? I have heard a lot of good comments on the Skunk2 but only mixed reviews on the B&M.. Isn't B&M coming out with a new version soon?
