Cold air Intake in a f18B motor

Default Cold air Intake in a jdm f18B motor

I heard that if i have a cold air intake (intake running to down to the bumper )in my engine it would run backways.Backways means that it wouldnt be really using to cold air intake to its full potential.

Is this TruE?and why?
MY CAR IS A SOHC VTEC 1849cc cf3 vts.

usdm sohc vtec accords are f22b1...

i'm sure you wouldnt feel any adverse effects from a cai...

Hey I have a CF3 with a F18B engine as well AT and my angine drops when I am at say 20km/h and let go of the gas. When I say drop I mean it really drops. It feels like I'm braking.
