i was wondering, what dash or instrument cluster will go into an EF with fairly light mods. im wanting the car, and im basically going for more go than show in it. but im sorry i just think the instrument cluster is ugly. so i was wondering if there was anything i could do to change it other than indiglo gauges. thanx for any info.

You can get a JDM gauge. It's a little work to wire in; not sure if it'll work with a USDM engine/ECU, but I don't see why not. It looks funkier, too.

yeah i know there are no jdm parts distributors in FL. theyre all on the west coast. try http://www.racingworks.com. theyre in winter springs FL, i got everything for my last 2 hybrids there, they have my approval. but if you want some jdm parts sites go to http://www.nipponmotors.com. if you have the money theyll ship what you want to your door. or try http://www.kingmotorsports.com, http://www.inlinefour.com, or the site a couple posts up, red line something.

that engine is really a hard to find.just a sohc is hard to find. the dohc is easy to find. i know you just need the block but that would be a tricky item to find. i would say any place that sells the motor itself, call them and ask them if they know of any place that sells them. i know it sounds stupid but you never know.

 

The sohc zc is from 2g integras and its pretty much the same as a d16a6.
theres a guy over on h-a.net with one ill try and see where he got it.
about the dash..closest i can think of is a 94+ integra center console can be fitted fairly easily.
also the optional center console for 4gs looks pretty neat it hooks the console to the dash and looks similar to the one on 3g preludes.
if you got the money and time and patients anything is possible im sure with enough cutting 2g integra dash might fit too.
