Default SPC Products camber bushings

Hi everyone. I was thrilled when a fellow VW driver pointed out SPC camber-adjustable strut "bearings" to me. It's basically a plate that fits inside the strut bearing caps which can be rotated to induce more camber or castor (one at the cost of some of the other.) They do not have official pricing yet, but suggested they would cost about $75 per side.

Has anyone used any of SPC's products? Could you share your experience? So far they are the only truly practical way to get more negative camber in my front suspension. The factory just didn't design adjustability into the new A4-chassis VW front suspensions, so I'm hoping these will be a good solution.

Here's a link to a nearly-accurate picture of the kit and front suspension: http://www.specprod.com/TEMP_DIR/TEMP_81340.HTML

edit: added the link.

I have used a similar item from them. They are some of the highest quality parts I have seen available, not cheap imported parts.

I have the adjustable upper control arms for a 6th gen Civic. The rears are very beefy. The front upper arm is ok. The piece is actually made in China. Adjusting for negative camber works fine, however when adjusting for positive camber, the bolt cam and control arm guide starts to bend. There seems to be too much tension in the suspension for the piece. I actually have to break loose the upper ball joint to adjust to keep the arm from bending. My suspension is modified with coilovers, a stock suspension may have different results. However I can't see someone using these arms for a stock suspension. Other than that, it seems very durable on the road.

I'll have to wait until April for the VW bits. I'm taking the car to Custom Alignment next week to have the current setup checked, then I'll go from there. Thank you for the feedback.
