Rsr header has no o2 bung, what do i do?
I have a 97 gsr and i just got a rsr header for it. The only problem is that the header doesnt have an o2 bung to put the o2 sensor in. What can i do so this wont be a problem? Could i just gen a hi-flow cat and have 2 bungs on it or would i have to have one put on my header?
Just take it to a muffler shop and have them cut a hole then weld one on. Not sure on the cost, but if it were $50+ i'd be surprised.
i was planning on buying a hi-flow cat soon, so would it be easier/cheaper to have 2 bungs put onto the cat instead of having it welded into the header or would that even work?
According to my helms manual, both the primary and secondary o2 sensors are in the catalytic converter on B18c1 engine. And b18b1 the primary is in the header.
So the RSR header should work fine.
i have a 97 GSR, but i havn't looked under it to see exactly where the o2's senors are, but I trust the helms manual.

thats good to hear that i wont have to go through the trouble. I havent checked it yet either, i just assumed one was in the header. thanks for the info, if it is correct i should have the header in my car tomorrow.
