Default New stock clutch or ACT HDSS setup?

I'm having to do a little tranny work in a couple weeks. I have about 80k on the stock clutch and might as well do the clutch while I'm at it. My two choices are a stock honda clutch (which i get at cost+10%), or an act HD pressure plate and SS friction disc and throwout bearing(which i also get at cost+10%). So far im thinking stock clutch because I mainly auto-x and hope to roadrace soon so huge horsepower will most likely not be a future concern. Although I've always heard good things about ACT. So what do you all think I'll have final prices on both in a couple days so just base your opinion on how useful going with the ACT will be.

I have an exedy/daiken OEM replacement. I got it from coximport.com (these guys are great!) for less than the Honda OEM. (I believe it was 125 shipped??)

It is slightly lighter than the OEM clutch, engagement is smooth as well

I also auto x...IMO your clutch isn't that critical, flywheel is more beneficial.

I highly reccomend the Exedy.

i went with the xtream act with exedy three puck and wip lash like a bitch, im also running a Indigo flywheel which i highly recomend for preludes..

http://www.indigospeed.com trust me you will be very very happy with this flywheel. Ive driven other ludes with CM and Findz. Both guys agree that Indigo felt better

imo exedy clutches are trash, too soft and wont hold much more than stock. i run a act hdr6 and i love it, it grabs like hell, never slips and if i drive it right its smooth as silk. 15k miles of living hell and it hasnt acted up once. 30 runs in the 1/4 back to back and it grabed on the last one like it was the first one.

Well i don't need much more than stock, and the act is much more expensive...i think im getting the exedy and leaving it at that thanks for all the opinions
