Anybody Know How Much PIRAHNAS are worth?
My dad buys houses and rents them out to people. This last house he bought, the previous owner had two pirahnas and he decided to leave them there. They are about 5-6in. long. Anybody know how much these little suckers are worth?

Well they are illegal for sale in AZ so watch who you sell them to. Do you know what kinda piranhas they are? Can you take pics of them or describe them?

if they are bellies red/orange color (most common) they are not worth that much. If you can find a buyer maybe $50+ each. If they are a different color then they are worth more. Black being the most expensive (mean as a ****).

Well, there are 3 of what it looks like REB BELLY ones. Then there is 1 Black one...LOL, I put a pieace of BBQ in the tank and they shredded that thing apart in seconds...!! LOL, I'll take some pics and put them bitches up soon. I didn't know they were illegal. I'm in TEXAS right now...ANyone know if they are illegal here?

yea they maybe Pacu...Pacu look like red bellied piranhas....but instead of eating flesh in the wild they eat nuts 
...i always wanted a piranha...but live in CA and we get the *** end of the deal when it comes to everyting(car emissions, guns, knives, and even tropical fish!!

I don't know the first thing about taking care of them. The only thing I found on the net last night is that they like warm water. That was a no brainer though seeing as they come from S. AFRICA...

there are actually piranha forums around(they have forums on everything no days even flashlights)...most of em have some vids of feeding frenzies...i have seen em

There are many different type of piranhas:

these are the most expensive ones, you probably have the red belly piranha, these piranhas are typical fish where u can easily get them at legal pet stores. They are not as aggressive as these piranhas nor are they as nice as these ones. Red bellys are very skittish and IMO are not worth keeping. Red bellys are also the cheapest piranha to buy, so don't expect to get a high price for them

i use to have 4 fire bellies...
3 turned on a friend...
eventually we wanted to see some canabalism...
we didn't feed them for the longest and 2 turned on their friend like in alien3
we fed them frogs and animals and roaches...a living garbage eater...
BLack Bodied Piranhas are the most dangerous though

pirahnas...it depends...if they are red bellies...they are CHEAP and common...judging by the sizes quoted...probably 20bux each at the most... if they are black pirahnas...those are expensive and they usually stay solo in a fish tank... black pirahnas are solitary fish... get an arowana....those fishes are the shiznit!
