JDM front end fit?
Anyone know if this front end will fit on a 88 civic sedan.
Also are 88-91 USDM civic front ends interchangable? 88-89 with 90-91? hatchback front with sedan front?

i'm not sure either, but i don't think hatch front ends fit sedans and vice versa...maybe if you swap fenders too....?
dont you have to swap fenders with the JDM ones when doing the conversion anyways?
You can swap in a JDM Hatch Front Bumper into a sedan, it bolts right up, my friend has already done it. The JDM hood does not fit. The front end of a sedan has "SH4" markings while the hatch is "SH3".

No it wont fit. You should get the whole jdm clip for your car. Yes you could put the sir bumper on but its not a bolt on, you still have to do some mods to make it look and fit clean.
He used the stock sedan hood, headlights, and filler.
with the sir bumper into a sedan you just have to 1" spacers in the mounting holes.

http://www.passwordjdm.com has the sedan jdm front end conversion for $499
Ya, I saw your friends 4door and thats exactly the direction I want to go.
Just one question... did he piece together the front end (stock 90-91 bumper with the JDM lights and hood) or is that what the front clip for a jdm 4 door will look like?
SteevooO, thanks for the link.
Do you know if Password:JDM is legit? Have you or any other member here done business with them? Thanks everyone for their help.
just to be clear a USDM 88-89 sedan bumper can be swapped with a USDM 90-91 bumper. right?

soon as I get the money, hatch jdm front end conversion is coming - that's a great price for all of it - and only $299 shipping to FL
