When changing my tranny fluid i noticed that the boot that goes over the clip on the shift linkage has been torn and so there is alot of rocks and crap in there from the road.
Anyone know how much this costs and a part # or something???

Not a huge deal, mine's been out for a year. I haven't had any problems, and after wiping it off it looks the same as it did a year ago. I think it's just to stop things from popping out the pin and disconnecting the linkage... but that thing is such a bitch to get out that I can't see any amount of rocks pushing it out.

 

ahh, just wondering since my shifter feels really stiff lately and also notchy. Seems like my tranny is gettin worse even after i changed the fluid. Cant wait for the R tranny with 4.7 final.
