I was just curious to see who has modified their H-series intake box. If so, what size K&N filter did you end up using and how much of the box was cut off in the process? The reason I am asking is because I am limiting my mods right now because I am holding out for a DRAG or fmax kit for my H23A and don't want to waste $ on stuf I'm not gonna need. ALSO, I know I have only been using this site for a couple of weeks but when do I become a full member.

My CAI was $33 of ebay and it made an big difference.

 

You're gonna be waiting a long time for an F-Max kit because they are no longer in business anymore.

I thought they were just bought out by turbonetics. they should be back up sometime. I heard nothing but good things from that ebay cold air intake. I should have bought that instead of the aem.

 

pull out the resonator and all the other stuff underneath the fender (take out your right front tire for easy access) once all that is removed you have a hole that goes from your stock intake box right down into the fender (cold)... now buy a drop in K&N filter and you have cold air intake. I've tried this method and I've also had a cheep CAI and personally I think the custom method is better.
