FINALLY!!!! The off season is over and it's F1 time again baby!

For those who don't know, the 1st qualifying session will be televised on speed at 10pm Thursday, then the 2nd session will be on at 10pm Friday. The race coverage begins at 9:30 on Saturday night.

That is assuming that the people who finish high up in the points will qualify at the front. Don't forget, with the new qualifying rules, the teams can't refuel between qualifying and the race. SO, expect one of the mid-pack teams to qualify on a light fuel load just for the publicity of taking the pole. If I had to bet, I would say Fisi is going to be on pole....

a lil OT: Even though i dont like Canada (sorry for offense to pep from there) I am going to the Montreal Race in June got my tickets two weeks ago, and plane tickets yesterday....WOOHOO!!!! (southern i know)

F1 rules

 

montreal is an AWESOME race!! i have gone 4 times now and cannot wait to go back. the town TOTALLY kicks *** and it is SOOOOOO CHEAP!!! you will have a blast !!!!

 

I'm going to the Montreal race this year for the first time. I can't wait!!! Does anybody know if that is before or after traction control is outlawed? From what I'm hearing, Honda will do better once it is gone since the new engine has such a good torque curve.

Oh, and I'm sticking to my prediction, I don't think Montoya will make the podium in this race. I don't think the new Williams car is fast enough yet....

I'll be at an SCCA event in Collage Station, TX. Most likely Schumi again but this may be Montoya's year. We shall see.
