i am going to buy a new header i just don't know which one. i want a one piece design that is 4-2-1. right now my setup is Y8 head and IM with a LS throttle body, test pipe and thermal R&D exhaust. i may also get a cam this summer. the 2 headers that i am looking at are the RS-R and the DC Sports. i found a comptech header which i hear are very good but is also much more $$. i'm looking for opinions on these headers or any others that are good. i'm not looking to get a $500+ custom header either

 

92-95 Si/Ex or 96-00 Ex header will work fine...I'd just go with a DC.

 

i know what year header will work, i'm looking for peoples opinons that have used a DC or RS-R header on a SOHC VTEC

 

go a turbo manifold.......nah j/p kamakazies are pretty dope there so huge dc's are overrated i never felt any difference from my stock manifold...thats just me now so no one flame me for saying that please

 

Do you have to worry about being carb legal..thats why I run a DC...

 

well last night i went ahead and ordered the RS-R. can't beat $260 shipped. fully polished stainless steel. i don't have to worry about carb legal. i figure i'll give the RS-R a try and see if i like it. i've read good things about it. on my x-girlfriend's car i put a 4-2-1 DC on her 97EX and noticed a small difference.
