Default Can I safely spray a 50 shot... wet or dry?

Stock bottom end... with just your basic boltons... CAI Fullcatback... etc....

Will I be ok with a 50 shot?

1996 Integra ls... 76kmi.
Thought about posting this in the FI section... but your integra owners... I want your input... Thanks.

Nitrous is very safe, its usually the user/installer that makes a mistake. Also if you get a wet kit, you usually want the nozzle closer to the t/b where as a dry you want it farther.

if you dont knwo too much about nitrous and want to run something smiple , but effective, go with Zex.
I had the NOs dry kit and didnt like it too much . thne went to NOs single fogger , and it was awesome , but it requies you knwoing some **** about nitrous, thne i swpapepd out for NOS direct port and that was just insane.

But ZEX is simple , easy to work with and easy to install and understand .

exactly!!! I have installed two zex nitrous kits now....the last one being in my 98 GSR and it is a piece of cake and very reliable. You will need a couple guys to help you to speed it up, but it is very safe and easy....BTW: I am running a 55 shot

On an LS with that many miles, I wouldn't feel comfortable, but do what you want.

How is the condition of the motor and all of it's internals? No bent valves or cracked seals? A lot of things to look for and consider before I'd even think about spraying....I hope you don't come back and post a horror story in a few months telling us how your motor went KABOOM

OG Bizzle, dont be scared, if you dont knwo about nitrous , dont post in the thread..

if the compression is good and the leakdown is good, you can spray it, if there are probs, thne fix those 1st, beucase spray will just beat on it more .

50 shot . . . well its a kinda decent increase, i didnt like my NOS dry kit becuase it was limited to 60shot anything over that on that set up went lean , and i wa a junky, i ran 100 shot before i ripped the tank out. it slike crakc man , you just want more and more.
id asy like 70-80 shot, would suffice and give you that instant hard on when the bottle is hit.

I don't know that any amount of nitrous is absolutely 'safe', but a 50 shot is nothing to worry about.

I love it....you can definitely feel the kick and with zex it is controlled by throttle sensor so it doesn't spray until you give it full throttle. For 485 bucks, the kick is definitely worth it. I am in the process of getting cams so I can retard the timing to do a 75 shot....and then I am going to start building the motor with rods/rings/pistons and port polish, hone, and maybe sleeve preparing for turbo.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love it! We agreed to race our cars how they are! You see, there will be no surprises. I can see through your games.

Get nitrous Leigh, and I'll race you in the Lancer 50 times. The bottle will run out. The turbo will not!

Youll be fine with the N20, I'd do a compression test first...but youll be okay. Run colder plugs. Id personally run a dry kit if youre only going to shoot 50 btw.

Yea -- I really wouldnt mess with itr206 on the nitrous issue...he'll rock ya.

Are you happy you turbo'd man (and dropped the direct port kit)?
