This is really annoying ...Whenever I shift fast or racing...my glove box fly's open..and all of my stuff goes everywhere Any of you encounter this problem...and have a way to fix it?

hmmm...I dont think thats the problem..considering my Girlfriends 2001* integra Gsr does the same thing..just not as often....and her car has a stock clutch. Anyone else? I know Im not the only one with this annoying problem.

Happened to me a couple times. I would shift really quick and hard, and the glove box would just snap open. My air freshner somtimes comes off too.

I guess that's a good sign. Mad shifting skillz y0!!

 

same thing happened to me. my air freshner flew off and hit my friend that was sitting in the back seat right in the face. he was like "WTF was that!"
but i'm using an ACT clucth and comptech flywheel.

 

i've had my radio fly out

 

one problem I do have is that my glove box tends to sag down, and at night, the light for it turns on. any ideas how to fix that?

 

actually there was a recall on the light thing from acura... they made the stub of the thing too short.. and all you gotta do is stick some kinna cap on it so it will be a bit taller to turbo the light off.. but the glove falling down while you shift... i dunno about that...mine seems to stay put

 

i had that problem...light stayin on all night due to it sagging....theres some bolts u will see to the sides of the glove box when the door is down...tighten up...done deal...

 

you got your radio on with scotch tape or something?

 

Actually I had that problem, and one time I noticed the screws on the inside of the latch were loose, so I tightened those up and no more light turning itself on and off all the time.

 

actually mine radio kind of pops out a bit when ever I go over a bump in the road/ only because I've been too lazy to put the security strip on the back though......

never had the glove box pop open though. I did break that plastic catch thingy that stops the box from going all the way down, apparently a full size mag light is too heavy for it.

 

Not really my glove box, I never had that problem...its my Radio that will flop out, I have it rigged in there right now. So when I bang 2nd. and try to throw 3rd. it's damn near impossible..lol

 

my head unit used to fly out and land on my shifter resulting in a mis shift...

then it got stolen so i got a new one now no more mishifts

 

hahaha...this problem sucks. I have a buddy that owned a 2000 GS-R and his glove box would fall down any time he shifted while driving aggresively. It sucked sitting in the passenger seat cuz his deck would fall out too and you'd be the one to hold all that **** up. As for my gs-r, I don't have that problem at all. It feels like the glove box is about to fall, and it makes a wierd noise, but it stays up.

Mine pops open as well, but usually not when shifting, but instead when I have wheel hop during burn outs.

 

I never had the glove box problem and mines a 95'. BUT, once me coin department came open on the 1-2 shift and change went everywhere. But it only happened once, maybe it was too full.

not mine i lock mines...thats where i keep my nawzzz but my coin holder always pops open

 

tighten up the screws.. that is usually the problem.

 

Mine opens when i hit really hard bumps... GF has gotten bruises
