Help using Bondo to cover up holes in my bumper
Well I had a Tsunami lip on my car for the last 2 years and decided to get a spoon c/f lip and now I have a couple of small screw holes in the front of it. Im gonna sand down the parts where the screw holes are and bondo up the holes before I have it repainted and just wanted to know if I could get any help from you guys before I go and try this like what grit sand paper will I need and any instructions you have on using bondo and your bumper. Thanks for any help you can give me...
to fill holes on a plastic bumper, you should use use plastic bumper repair glue instead. Bodyfiller doesnt stick well to plastics, and with time they peel off. you shouldnt sand on these plastics with less than 150 grit. use flex additive and adhesion promoter in your paints.
thanks for the info... Saved me time from using that stuff now...Can I get plastic repair bumper glue at like pep boys?
you can try out your local auto parts store. If you cant find it there, try your local Autobody Supply Store.
