im just curious, how is it suppose to create more HP? i just dont see how it works. sorry i know im newbie.
throttle bodies are attached to your intake manifold. make them bigger(aftermarket) you will essentially let more air in the manifold to put more air in the cylinders. same thing as a bigger exhaust pipe. a 3inch pipe will flow more air than a 2inch pipe. a 70mm throttle body will let more air flow than a 62mm. hence, more HP.
not quite true - if you put in more air, you are going to need more fuel - if your motor can't handle more air and fuel (i.e. different cam(s), higher c.r. etc.) you could end up worse off.
It all depends on everyting else you that coensides with the cams, tb etc etc. The more cfm's you flow the more hp as long as you have the other compoents to make it work.
