Role cage question
Roll bar/cage are not requirements for autocrossing. Autocross is generally considered a non-speed event (compared to hpde or road racing). Safety tech at the event will check the roadworthiness of you car (bearing play, adequate pedal/brakes, throttle return spring, battery tie down, etc. etc.) You should basically make sure your car is "healthy". I.e. it won't break down under slightly higher than street driving stress. Run your tires with a little more psi (5-10) than you would normally run on the street. Top off all your fluids, etc.
A multipoint harness would help, since it straps you in and you can control the car better. But it isn't a requiement either. All you need are stock restraints.
