You did well. I do not remember having to talk to you about a spin or off course excursion. I do remember handing you your packet and number in the morning. I did manage to break away and get about 3 hot laps in. I did not feel like driving that day.

Thanks, Greg. Yes, it was a pretty clean event as far as off-track incidents. You, Hunpin and the others did a nice job.

I had a blast.... Too bad i didnt get to talk to most of you though....

I was the Turbo'd Gunmetal CRX with the rice graphics.... (i say that cuase i cannot wait to get rid of them.... Sponsor reasons)

But i did get to instruct a fellow HT member that drove all the way from SEATTLE to do this event.....

I hope to see and chat with you guys more at the Buttonwillow event.

is it me, or is this one of the famous "pics"?? looks to me like that turn is in lots of pictures. i really like it too. good action shots.

That section is known as "the corkscrew." It's a largely blind, off-camber section that drops seventy feet very quickly. It's famous for good reason.

gotta love the corkscrew... my first time down it was in a passenger seat of a E36 M3 and was i surprised when i went down it!... i didn't know it was that steep!... gives you a great rush

I'm THAT guy from Seattle! Thank you Sumo.! Anyway, I had a blast and my father (who is a much better photographer than the fools that were hired!) took some great pictures and I will post them when I get a chance.
