Default GSR crank vs TYPE R crank???!!!

i got both a type r crank and a gsr crank, i am trying to decide on which one im going to use in my next set up. im getting my crank knife edged/polished/balanced anyway so i was wondering if there would be any difference in which one i decide to go with...

There aren't enough appreciable differences that would make one more preferrable over the other. You'll have to rebalance the internals regardless of which crankshaft you use. The ITR crank just gives you a little more material to start with.

Nice I was just thinking about that thread. Basically the main difference btn the two is that the ITR crank is counter weighted to help it rev smoothly at high RPMs.
