There are little plastic tabs holding the trunk liner in. Just poke the center of them with a screwdriver and pull the trunk liner out and you'll see the shock towers. The little plastic things just poke right back into the holes when you need to put them back.

I don't think the 4 door trunk has that shock tower lid that you can just pop it like the 2 doors do. I had to take all the covers off on my '98 to get access to the shock towers.



And yes, any 2 door strut bar will fit fine!

I would think with some careful cutting that you could make it look pretty clean...but not sure how much this mod really does...i don't think bang for the buck is very high.

The only purpose of that bar is to add body rigidity. It's not noticeable in everyday driving and you'll notice it more once you start doing auto-x or road racing.

what i did was just find the spots the bar would be sticking out and just did clean rectangle cut on spot and it fit fine
