My JDM EG6 Cluster came in today. Pics inside:
Hey guys, got my cluster and installed it this afternoon. Thought I'd share it with ya. Yes, I know the cluster is an auto. I bought the car as an auto and have always liked having a manual tranny and an auto cluster. It was also much cheaper cause no one else wanted it! 
Does anyone know where I can find replacement amber bulbs? I would like to do my autometer gauges to match. Anyone?

looks like one of the bulbs is out on the speedo side of the cluster...nice tho..wish i had one.. 
the wierd thing is that just about all the jdm clusters that i have seen have a dim spot in the same place

they're all dim around 120-140 km.

that thing is gorgeous...i always thought the Sir-II cluster was white and had a different font...oh well I guess that is only on the SiR's that must be a non-sir JDM EG...looks good nice

I don't see how having an auto cluster would be different...because it shouldn't go in a 5 sp car. But I do understand paying almost 1/2 for it, which is why you did it. You can easily pop off the cover and cover it up!
Is that out of a VTI auto or something???
edit- in my cluster, I just used my old stock bulbs. The backing is what makes it light up amber, the bulbs just richen it a bit..but I have 1/2 amber 1/2 regular and don;t notice a difference

See, my car started out as an auto and has since been converted to 5 sp. and had multiple engine swaps. I left the auto cluster in througout everything because I and many other people thought it was neat. They'd look in my car and be like "this used to be an automatic?!" I just liked the reaction I got from it. When I saw that I could get a JDM version of the same cluster I had for next to nothing, I jumped on it. The only reason I reacted was because this place is being overrun by fucktards who don't wanna do anything but hate.
Oh yeah, thanks for the tip on the bulbs. I was unaware of that.
