any1 know where the anti-theft code is on the stock radio.
Its on a little plastic card - same size as a credit card. Look around with the owners manual, but maybe the PO threw it away. I think the dealer charges an hour to remove the radio so they can read the serial # of the radio. You've already done that. Go to a dealer & ask. You may need some kind of 'proof' that you didn't steal it...
If you just walk in with the radio in your hand, they don't even have to pull the car into the garage. If they're nice they might look up the code for free.

Here is what you can do. First, check under the ashtray and under the ECU fuse box cover. Sometimes dealers put the radio code there. If it is not in either of those spots, get the serial number off the radio and call the dealer for the code.
The dealer usually charges 80 bucks for the removal of the radio to get the serial number but you can see the number by looking up at the radio from the passengerside footwell. HTH

Ok, Pop your hood... remove ur fuse box cover, and look under it (under the cover).. there should be the code.. that's where mine is...
some dealers i've heard of are actually cooler than others and have given the code free of charge if you drivein and show them ur car. so u may want to try that.
someone wrote it on the stereo itself on mine....
wish i would have known that before i go punching buttons for an hour....

I seriously dont think a dealership would charge for a number they are required to give you. A dealer also has your VIN number which they are able to make copies of your keys incase you need a key-- I THINK..
anyway my friend sold me his prelude cd player, and didnt have the number, called them, said i had to go there. so my friend went/ showed registration/ license and serial adn they gave it to him.

Get the serial number off the back. Call any honda or acura dealers ship, they should give you the code.
they gave me the code over the phone . . all i gave them was the serial number on my stock head unit . .

they usually just wont give it over the phone, what would the purpose of the code be then?
